Four young animal friends—Pounce, Gemma, Neville and Frizzy—spend an action-packed summer at Kangaroo Beach, training as junior lifeguard cadets.

They learn water safety, rescue skills and beach awareness while enjoying surfing, water sports, scuba diving, ocean adventures and exploring a tropical island.

Guided by lifeguards Bondi, Sandy and Big Trev, the cadets take part in fun challenges and earn medallions for mastering new skills. When emergencies strike, they put their training and unique talents into action, becoming an essential part of every rescue mission.
