Founded in 2015 by graphic designer Ulla Klopf and artist Ute Baurecker, PABUKU – The Quirky Paperie is a greeting card label with the passionate mission to create high level greeting cards in a colourful diverse context. Their label has gone on to be distributed across the globe via brick and mortar retailers and selected online stores.

Influenced by the aesthetics of handlettering and woodcut, Ulla & Ute have combined their passion for letterpress printing and tactile paper to create handcrafted quality prints.

Pabuku select specific Victorian illustrations with an eye on the tiny details which are rearranged tell a new story. At the same time these whimsical images have plenty of space for individual interpretation and Pabuku make sure that they add a very personal touch to each creation.
